Sam Richardson-Gerrard
Head of Design
Sam is an award-winning hybrid Creative Director and Design Lead. He’s worked across the industry for more than 14 years wearing many creative hats – spanning product launches, global rebrands and cross content-culture activations. He’s led and grown creative teams across agencies including PlayStation, 20ten, and &Partnership, where he’s worked on accounts including LVMH, Disney, Puma, McLaren, Warner Bros, and Unilever. He even launched his own start-up, which won one of the fastest-growing businesses in 2018.
Velocity dragged him kicking and screaming into the world of B2B. Despite the resistance (we’ll try not to take it personally), Sam has fully embraced the deep-dive into a complex world, which he thinks leads to a very thoughtful and intentional approach to creativity.
When he’s not getting into a granular level of detail for our clients, he enjoys cycling, gigs, coffee and psychedelic drugs. Just hopefully not all at the same time.
