Account Manager – London

A data-driven account manager focused on boosting the performance of the great content created by Velocity. This role sits within the Account Management team but has a dedicated focus on our Performance division. You’d be supporting the team with data-analysis, marketing automation, promotional activity and reporting.

You would bridge the gap between our dedicated client account managers and our performance team to help create a unified proposition, identifying and supporting new opportunities and representing the team within Accounts. This will also include day-to-day management of the performance specialists in each area and ensuring a steady and prioritised workload.

Team Meeting Management 

Run the weekly meeting and ensure our project plans are fully up-to-date before and after the weekly meeting. Share any agreed actions with team members based on discussions and outcomes. Having an overall view of activity within all our accounts.

Manage Resource Schedule

Maintain and update dynamic resourcing schedule that supports both short and long-term capacity planning.

Manage Agency Communications

Take requests and briefs from project and account managers to support proposals with timing and resource commitment. Work with internal teams to create clear, actionable briefs and provide project status updates to key stakeholders and retain excellent relationships between teams.

Freelance and Partner Management

Work directly with freelance and partners to ensure work is planned, delivered and at a high standard. Set up and lead regular formal catch-ups and maintain project schedule in line with initial agreements. Keep costs updated in supporting spreadsheet.

Manage Team Initiatives

Manage team innovation and initiatives from content projects to product portfolio enhancements.

Submit Performance Reports

Share performance reports with the wider team on Velocity marketing (social, marketing, blog).

Performance Enablement

Support projects with core activities that support project success with detailed and effective search, social and content audits. Ensure the work is integrated across project processes.

 

Required skills and background

3+ years’ experience in an agency environment focused on organizing and presenting data, promotion or analytics projects directly to clients.

You will have an uncanny ability to plan and organize a team based on a clear understanding of their goals and objectives.
